HAVE YOU LOST TRACK OF YOUR FAMILY'S ARKPORT HISTORY BOOKS?
If so, you are in luck. The Canisteo Valley Historical Society intends to re-issue the three publications. Fundraising for the effort has begun. A set of a dozen notecards and envelopes are selling for $5. Four scenes are included, 3 each of: the two churches, both dedicated in 1914, the 1804 Judge Christopher Hurlbut House, and Arkport Central School in 1949, when the original pillars and lampposts were used. If you need a set sent to you, send $7 (including postage) per set to: CVHS, PO Box 123, Arkport, NY 14807, or contact an officer of the Society.
